Prayer of St Hildegard von Bingen (O Eterne Deus):

O Eternal God, now may it please Thee to burn in love so that we become the limbs fashioned in the love Thou felt when Thou begot Thy Son at the first dawn before all creation.

And consider this need which falls upon us, take it from us for the sake of Thy Son, and lead us to the joy of Thy salvation. Amen.

Pause here for the grace you are asking.

St Hildegard, pray for us that the words you wrote to your monastic friend may also apply to us, May the Holy Spirit enkindle you with the fire of His love so that you may persevere, unfailingly, in the love of His service. Thus you may merit to become, at last, a living stone in the celestial Jerusalem.

Our Father, who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen. Hail Mary Glory Be
