Principal Prayer for Each Day

Pray this same prayer each day after the day's meditation.

O Lord, You miraculously protected and preserved the image of the Mother of Your beloved Son from the destruction of fire. Grant that through her merits and intercession, we may escape the fire of hell thanks to the fire of Your love. Through Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.

Almighty and eternal God, we ask Your protection against destroying fire. Keep our homes and buildings and woods and fields safe from this scourge. Give us, too, a saving fear of the fires of passion, and the help of Your grace to control them. Help us also to fear the fires of hell, that we may keep away from serious sin, and live lives of goodness and virtue, through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Our Father, Who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy Name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Glory Be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

Our Lady of the Fire, pray for us. Our Lady of the Fire, protect us from the fire. Our Lady of the Fire, always keep us safe under your mantle.
