It explains where calendar observances come from, what was cross-checked, and how source notices are applied to the download feed and reader.
Calendar sources
The calendar follows the 1962 Roman Missal. Principal observances, ranks, colors, and identified commemorations come from Missale Meum, by Marcin Molenda, drawing on Divinum Officium. Its project documentationmakes the API available for use.
1962 Ordo is a secondary commemoration check. A matching count alone is insufficient to add an observance. Source disagreements are reviewed against period sources, including Rev. Patrick L. Murphy's 1960 edition of the General Rubrics, 109-114. The downloads contain short calendar facts and source references, not prayer texts.
