We do not treat every devotional text as equally old or equally documented. Clear source footing comes first, and later witnesses are named as such.

Stations of the Cross
The Stations companion follows the traditional fourteen-station form and St. Alphonsus Maria de Liguori’s Way of the Cross. The shorter meditations are a faithful, plainly identified arrangement for this reader, not a claim of a newly discovered historical text.

Historical footing before promotion
Novena Regina gives priority to older devotional books, manuals, archival collections, and clear feast connections. When a prayer depends on a later devotional witness or has weaker evidence, that footing should be named plainly rather than presented as an ancient source.
