Using Novena Regina
Terms of Use
These terms set the ground rules for using Novena Regina, including its accounts, reminders, submissions, and donation links.
Effective and last updated: July 10, 2026
Acceptance of these terms
By accessing or using novenaregina.com or the installable Novena Regina web app, you agree to these Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the interactive features of the site.
The service
Novena Regina provides a devotional library of novenas, prayers, saint lives, preparation guides, source notes, reminders, and related Catholic material. Features may be added, changed, suspended, or removed as the library develops.
Novena Regina is an independent devotional project. It is not a parish, diocese, religious order, tribunal, healthcare provider, law firm, or emergency service. Unless a page expressly says otherwise, the site is not presented as an official publication of the Catholic Church or as carrying ecclesiastical approval.
Devotional and educational use
The site is offered for prayer, historical information, and general education. It is not a substitute for the sacraments, pastoral direction from a priest, professional medical or mental-health care, legal advice, or emergency assistance. Questions about sin, confession, marriage, canon law, health, or personal safety should be taken to an appropriate priest or qualified professional.
Source notes and feast information are prepared with care, but historical sources and calendars can differ. You are responsible for deciding how to use devotional material.
Age and eligibility
Anyone may read the public library. You must be at least 13 to create an account, subscribe to email or push reminders, submit content, or provide personal information through the site. If you are not old enough to enter a binding agreement where you live, a parent or legal guardian must approve your use of those features. Donations may be made only by an adult or with the authorization of the payment method's owner.
Accounts and reminders
You agree to provide accurate account information, protect access to your email and devices, and notify Novena Regina if you believe your account is being misused. You may not access another person's account or interfere with the site's security.
Email and push reminders are conveniences, not guaranteed delivery services. Delivery may be delayed or prevented by browsers, device settings, email providers, network conditions, maintenance, or other circumstances. Do not rely on a reminder for an emergency, a legal deadline, medical care, or any safety-critical purpose.
Acceptable use
You may not:
- use the site unlawfully, fraudulently, or to harm, threaten, or impersonate another person;
- submit malware, spam, deceptive links, unlawful material, or private information about another person without permission;
- probe, bypass, overload, scrape at a disruptive rate, or interfere with the site or its security controls;
- use automated means to create accounts, send repeated requests, or republish the library as a competing service; or
- misrepresent Novena Regina content as official Church teaching, an endorsement, or your own original work.
Reasonable personal, parish, classroom, and noncommercial devotional sharing is welcome when the source is identified and any third-party rights are respected.
Content and intellectual property
The site contains a mix of original editorial material, public-domain devotional and historical works, licensed or permission-based material, factual information, and material credited to third-party sources. Novena Regina does not claim ownership of material that is in the public domain or belongs to someone else.
The Novena Regina name, logo, site design, original organization, and original text and software are protected to the extent allowed by law. Except for reasonable personal or noncommercial devotional use, you may not copy substantial portions of the site, remove attribution, sell access, or create a confusingly similar service without written permission.
If you believe material on the site infringes your rights, email a description of the work, the page address, your contact information, and the basis of your claim to hello@novenaregina.com.
Your submissions
You keep ownership of original material you submit. By submitting content, you give Novena Regina a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, review, reproduce, format, edit for clarity or presentation, publish, display, distribute, and archive it in connection with the library and its promotion. This license continues for material already published or incorporated into the library, subject to applicable law.
You confirm that you have the right to submit the material, that your submission and source description are accurate to the best of your knowledge, and that publication will not violate another person's rights. Do not include confidential information, private prayer intentions, confession details, or personal information about another person without permission. Novena Regina may accept, reject, edit, unpublish, or remove any submission.
Donations and recurring support
Donations are voluntary and are processed by Stripe under Stripe's own terms and privacy notice. By choosing monthly support, you authorize Stripe to charge the chosen amount on a recurring monthly basis until canceled. You may request cancellation by using any management link provided by Stripe or by emailing hello@novenaregina.com. Submit a cancellation request before the next scheduled charge.
Except where required by law or when a charge was made in error, completed donations are not refundable. Novena Regina does not promise that a donation is tax-deductible; rely on the receipt provided and consult your own tax adviser if that question matters to you.
Third-party services and links
The site links to archives, source materials, social platforms, Stripe checkout, and other third-party services. Third parties control their own content, availability, security, and privacy practices. A link identifies a source or useful destination; it does not necessarily mean that Novena Regina endorses everything on that site.
Availability and disclaimers
The site and its content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Novena Regina disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, noninfringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. Nothing in these terms excludes a warranty or right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Novena Regina and the people who maintain it will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, lost data, lost profits, or reliance on missed reminders or site content. For any claim arising from the site, total liability will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid directly to Novena Regina during the 12 months before the claim or 100 U.S. dollars. These limits do not apply where applicable law does not allow them.
Suspension and ending use
You may stop using the site at any time. Novena Regina may limit or suspend access to interactive features when reasonably necessary to protect users, enforce these terms, respond to legal requirements, or maintain the service. Provisions that by their nature should continue—including content licenses, disclaimers, liability limits, and rights concerning prior conduct—survive the end of use.
Changes and general terms
Updated terms will be posted here with a new effective date. Material changes may also be announced on the site or through an account or email notice when appropriate. Your continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated terms.
If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect. A delay in enforcing a provision is not a waiver. These terms and the Privacy Policy are the agreement between you and Novena Regina concerning the site, except for any separate written agreement that expressly applies.
