Lord Jesus Christ, Thou hast destroyed the power of death and given the hope of eternal life for body and soul.

Thou didst grant Thy Mother a special place in Thy glory, and didst not allow decay to touch her body.

As we rejoice in the Assumption of Mary, grant us renewed confidence in the victory of life over death. Amen.

Holy Queen, I rejoice in thy Assumption to Heaven.

After thy life of love and suffering on earth, God took thee to be with Him in glory forever.

Through thy Assumption, help me to overcome sin and become the saint that God has made me to be.

Impress upon me the truth that death is the gateway to eternal life with thy Son, and that at the Resurrection my body and soul shall reunite and be glorified in the unalloyed joy of Heaven.

Until that great day, while on my pilgrimage of life, I ask for thy powerful intercession in this novena, especially for

Pause here for the grace you are asking.

When I face the hour of my death, be my intercessor and mother before Jesus, that He may bring me to that ineffable banquet with thee in the Beatific Vision.

Our Father, who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Ghost. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

O Queen assumed into Heaven, pray for us. Amen.

In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

Amen.
