Hail, holy Queen, Mother of Mercy, our life, our sweetness, and our hope.
To thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve. To thee do we send up our sighs mourning and weeping in this valley of tears.
Turn then, most gracious advocate, thine eyes of mercy toward us, and after this our exile show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary.
Pray for us, O Holy Mother of God, that we made be made worthy of the promises of Christ.
St. John Bosco’s Prayers to Mary, Help of Christians
Most Holy Virgin Mary, Help of Christians, how sweet it is to come to thy feet imploring thy perpetual help.
If earthly mothers cease not to remember their children, how can thou, the most loving of all mothers forget me?
Grant then to me, I implore thee, thy perpetual help in all my necessities, in every sorrow, and especially in all my temptations.
I ask for thy unceasing help for all who are now suffering.
Help the weak, cure the sick, convert sinners.
Grant through thy intercessions many vocations to the religious life.
Obtain for us, O Mary, Help of Christians, that having invoked thee on earth we may love and eternally thank thee in heaven.
O Mary, most powerful Virgin, great and illustrious defender of the Church, wonderful Help of Christians, formidable as an army in battle array, you who have overcome every heresy in the world, in our anguish, in our combats, in our difficulties, defend us from the Enemy, and at the hour of our death receive our souls into Paradise. Amen.
Pause here for the grace you are asking.
Our Father, who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.
Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Ghost. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
Mary, Help of Christians, pray for us!
In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.
Amen.
