Dear Lord, You gave Saint Bernardine a special love for the Holy Name of Jesus, a desire for all men to be converted to Christ, and an unwavering commitment to purity of speech and body.
By the help of his prayers, may we always be alive with the spirit of Your love, and may he obtain from You the need we ask for,
Pause here for the grace you are asking.
We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever.
Amen.
Prayer of St Bernadine
Jesus, Name full of glory, grace, love and strength! You are the refuge of those who repent, our banner of warfare in this life, the medicine of souls, the comfort of those who mourn, the delight of those who believe, the light of those who preach the true faith, the wages of those who toil, the healing of the sick.
To You our devotion aspires, by You our prayers are received, we delight in contemplating You. O Name of Jesus, You are the glory of all the saints for eternity.
Amen.
Our Father, who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.
Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Ghost. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
St Bernadine of Siena, pray for us!
In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.
Amen.
