About this devotion and its sources
  • The devotion is practiced on the first Friday of nine consecutive months. These checkboxes are your personal record.
  • Follow the Church's usual preparation for Holy Communion. A confession date alone does not establish readiness to receive.
  • This voluntary devotion is part of a continuing life of faith and repentance. A completed record does not judge your spiritual state or guarantee salvation.
  • For illness, missed months, or questions about your circumstances, ask your priest. You can correct your record at any time.

Five First Saturdays

Keep a personal record of five consecutive First Saturdays in reparation to the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

The calendar file includes the next 12 dates and a suggested alert the day before. Your calendar controls whether alerts appear.

About this devotion and its sources
  • The devotion is practiced on the first Saturday of five consecutive months. The meditation is in addition to praying the Rosary.
  • The World Apostolate of Fatima USA gives eight days before or after the First Saturday as the usual window for confession. Ask your priest about circumstances that make this difficult.
  • The World Apostolate also notes that Holy Communion may be received at a Saturday evening anticipatory Mass. Follow the Church's usual preparation for Holy Communion.
  • These checkboxes record what you choose to enter. They do not judge your spiritual state or certify that devotional conditions have been fulfilled.
  • You may continue the devotion after five months. Ask your priest about missed months or other questions, and correct your record whenever needed.
