What the colors mean

White: joyful feasts of Our Lord, Our Lady, and saints who were not martyrs.

Red: martyrs, the Holy Spirit, and feasts connected with Christ's Passion.

Green: ordinary Sundays and weekdays outside penitential seasons.

Violet: Advent, Lent, and other penitential days.

Rose: the two lighter, hopeful Sundays in Advent and Lent.

Black: Masses for the dead, where it is used.

The fish symbol marks an abstinence day. “Fast” marks a fasting day.

Should I download or subscribe?

Download a month or year for a fixed copy. Subscribe to receive corrections and newly approved years when your calendar app refreshes. Both options are free. Importing the same file again can create duplicates.

Which years are available?

Downloads and subscriptions currently include 2026. Future years appear only after review and approval. Calendar apps choose their own refresh times, so updates may take time to arrive.
