O great St. Francis de Sales, doctor of charity and model of gentleness, obtain for me the grace to live with patience, humility, and steadfast love. Teach me to serve God faithfully in the ordinary duties of life, to speak with kindness, to endure trial without bitterness, and to persevere in the path of holiness until the end. Pray that I may die in the peace of Christ and enter the joy of heaven. Amen.
